The Trial Of Goldilocks
What if Goldilocks were arrested for breaking and entering?
Guilty or innocent? Was the young girl a selfish spoiled brat intruding where she didn't belong? Or, was she the victim of three conniving bears and their animal "band of hoods" in the woods?
Addressing these perplexing, and humorous, concepts is HPYTs production of "The Trail of Goldilocks" Friday, October 27th and Saturday, October 28th, 7:30 pm at the Kirkland Art Center. Tickets are 5.00, general admission and will be sold at the door.
In Rhyme mime and mirth, "The Trial Of Goldilocks" is a fun, lighthearted look at the well-loved fairy tale, "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" from a slightly different perspective. Goldilocks is put on trial for her alleged offenses of breaking and entering, destruction of property and of course, for the heinous crime of eating someone else's porridge.
With the combination of a zealous defense attorney, a distracted prosecuting attorney, and a hard-of-hearing judge, this production showcases some of our youngest actors in a fun evening of entertainment. Cast includes: Casey Rice, London Rowland, Sam Clarey, Kelsey North, Abbie Miller, Emma Short, Nicholas Murphy, Sydney Kogut, Stephanie Digiorgio and Ben Clifton. Directing this production is Steve King.
